Guille De Juan
A true player in Barcelona’s club scene since the early 90s, he was one of the few local DJs selected to play at the first Sonar Festival back in 1993. Being present for two decades at the forefront of his hometown thriving club scene, he has achieved both technical skills and an ever growing collection of fine vinyl records. The summer of 1997 he created Octopussy, a very successful venue where he confirmed his status as an expert music selector. Always digging for deep and emotional rhythms, his musical scope has been expanding through the years to become in present days a rich melting pot of house, disco, beaks, soul and funk. He actively collaborates with 2020 VISION on their Barcelona based renowned parties, plays as a guest DJ at various clubs (City Hall, Marula Café, La Macarena…) and manages his own Playtime parties, in which his passion for good disco music is set free, with special guests like LTJ Xperience, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Nicholas, Gino Grasso, Chris Duckenfield, Mic Newman, Avanti…
His soundcloud page, featuring a selection of his best DJ sets, is a good sample of the wide range of genres that form his colorful musical tapestry.
Dadame (Dario Damerini)
From his beginnings organising events of electronic dance musc via radio broadcasting to recent forays into the more alternative events scene of art galleries and warehouses, Dario Damerini’s musical outlook epitomises everything that is good about diversity.
Having cut his musical teeth in Bologna, Italy, in 2003 Damerini adopted the creative melting pot of Barcelona as his hometown – a move which afforded him the opportunities to springboard his career as a DJ and producer.
A DJ mainstay of Barcelona’s revered clubbing scene, Damerini has also taken matters into his own hands by organising and promoting his own events such as the collective, label: The Monkey Bar, characterised by an unconventional approach to venue selection and a penchant for house music history.
Damerini invariably offers a veritable cornucopia of deep, delectable delights, with Chicago and Detroit, black and white, house and techno as the main
